Joan Geiger Wood joined Children's Law Center as development director in 2008. Joan has extensive experience developing and implementing successful fundraising programs, having raised over $100 million for non-profit organizations over her more than 20 year career. She is an expert presenter to CEO's, donors, boards and fundraising colleagues. A member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Direct Marketing Association of Washington, Joan is a local Washingtonian and graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park.
