There are many ways to get involved with the Holiday Hope Drive. You can:

We ask that as a Santa for each child you "adopt" you provide:
Why should I contribute to the gift card drive?
Many of our teenage clients reside in group homes and the holiday season is another reminder of the families they do not have. Your generosity lets them know that they matter, that they are not alone.
Should I wrap my presents?
Please do not wrap the gifts, but do provide us with wrapping supplies. Be sure to label your presents, though, with each child's name and last initial. The label should also include the CLC's attorney's name. Ex: "Brianna T. - Chrissy Smith". We will be organizing over 2,000 gifts, and we need help making sure that they get where they are supposed to go.
What do I do with my donation form?
Please attach your form to the gifts. The forms help us ensure that each child receives all the correct gifts. Include a detailed description of the gifts that you are donating, as well as their estimated value. Feel free to use to the back of the form if you need additonal space. If you like, you may also staple reciepts to the back of the form.
Where can I drop off my gifts?
CLC's offices are located at 616 H Street, NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20001. We are half a block from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station and the Chinatown Arch. There is a parking garage in our building, with an entrance on 6th Street. Street parking is also available.
Please call us the day of your delivery (202-467-4900 x524) and let us know that you are on your way. When you arrive, someone will meet you downstairs to collect your gifts and forms. Should you know your schedule in advance, please email Erica Kaufman at ekaufman@childrenslawcenter.org, and she can coordinate your delivery with you.
When can I drop off my gifts?
Please come to our offices during our scheduled drop-off times:
Saturday, December 3: 10 am - 3 pm
Monday, December 4 to Friday, Decemeber 9: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday, December 10: 10 am - 3 pm
All gifts must be in our office by December 10th in order to be delivered to the children on time.
