Children's Law Center will be offering an Attorney Training to all attorneys on the Counsel for Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN) GAL panel on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
During this full-day training, we will cover the following topics: "Pre-Trial Motion Practice for GALs"; "Strategies for Representing Emancipating Youth"; and "Advocacy Tools for School Discipline Issues." We'll also be holding a brown bag lunch on the topic of "How Can You Do That Work? Strategies for Surviving GAL Practice." To learn more, please see the attached flyer.
