OSSE proposed regulations governing the special education responsibilities of charter schools and the school placement of children with disabilities enrolled in charter schools. CLC submitted comments urging revisions to ensure compliance with federal law on school placement decisions and to avoid incentives for charter schools to discriminate against children with disabilities. (CLC Chapter 30 section 19 Comments)
I wouldn’t have been able to afford the legal help that I got. The legal assistance I got was equivalent to a Wall Street law firm. That’s how hard Children’s Law Center worked. I could never have paid for what I received from them.
