D.D. Davis joined The Children’s Law Center as a special education staff attorney in 2009. Prior to joining CLC, D.D. served as a Guardian ad litem for the Office of the Child Advocate and an educational surrogate parent for the Delaware Department of Education. She also served as an elementary school mentor and attorney coach for high school mock trial. D.D. received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where she represented DC youth in juvenile delinquency cases in the Juvenile Justice Clinic and taught practical law courses through the Street Law in the community program. D.D. graduated magna cum laude from American University with degrees in Law and Society and CLEG.
