Dalton Collins joined the Guardian ad Litem Program at Children’s Law Center in 2016, where he represents the best interests of children in abuse and neglect proceedings. Prior to joining CLC, Dalton represented clients in public benefits and criminal record expungement matters as a staff attorney at the Homeless Persons Representation Project, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland. Previously, he completed a fellowship with the Women’s Resiliency and Reentry Project at Disability Rights DC where he represented women living with severe and persistent mental illness in their transition home from incarceration.  As a law student, Dalton completed over 750 hours of clinical work on behalf of low-income D.C. residents through the HIV/AIDS Legal Clinic and D.C. Law Students in Court Criminal Division.
