Bridget Koza, Staff Attorney

Bridget Koza joined Children's Law Center as a GAL Project Staff Attorney in 2011. She graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2011. During law school, Bridget served as a law clerk to the Children’s Law Center’s GAL Project working with the special education attorneys and she interned with the New York City Department of Education assisting with cases where teachers have been charged with incompetence. Additionally, she served as guardian ad litem for adults with developmental disabilities in D.C. Superior Court and represented a parent with regards to her children’s special education needs in the Disability Rights Law Clinic at WCL. Bridget also participated in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Law Literacy Program where she taught constitutional law in a DC public high school. She graduated with a BA in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, in 2007.
