Brittany Mobley joined Children’s Law Center as a staff attorney is 2011 immediately after graduating from Howard University School of law. While at Howard, she worked as a student attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic representing adults in misdemeanor cases. During law school, she worked as a law clerk for the Public Defender Service for DC in the Juvenile Services Program (JSP). While in JSP, she worked at New Beginnings Youth Development Center assisting committed youth with legal issues arising from their confinement. Upon graduation from Howard, Brittany completed the Pro Bono Honors Pledge by volunteering several hours of pro bono work as a law student. Prior to her law school experience, she went to the University of Virginia where she graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy. While in college, Brittany often volunteered with youth by working at community centers, mentoring programs, and computer labs.
