Damon King joined the Children’s Law Center in 2011 as a Staff Attorney. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2009. Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Damon spent 2 years as a Skadden Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Youth Law Center in San Francisco, CA, where he worked to address inadequate living conditions and legal violations in California group homes and emergency shelters. While in law school, Damon was a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where he represented Boston-area clients in domestic relations and public benefits proceedings and argued before the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
“I would thank Children’s Law Center for giving me a chance to go to a four year college or even a trade school, to do something I’d like to do. Like maybe be a sportscaster … or a chef.”
