A founding board member of Children’s Law Center, Diane Weinroth joined the staff as special counsel in 2003. She graduated from Columbia Law School in 1976 and has been clinical supervising attorney at the Washington College of Law, American University since 1989. She has been practicing family and child abuse and neglect law in the District of Columbia for over 25 years and was a co-author of the first edition of the Child Abuse and Neglect Practice Manual for the District of Columbia. In 2007, Diane received the Jerrold Scoutt Prize from the DC Bar Foundation.
