Jennifer Di Toro joined Children’s Law Center as legal director in 2004. As a result of her work and commitment to public service, Jennifer received a Wasserstein Public Interest Fellowship at Harvard Law School and was elected Vice President of the Washington Council of Lawyers. Prior to her work with Children’s Law Center, she served as a staff attorney at the DC Public Defender Service in the Trial and Special Litigation Divisions. Jennifer was also an attorney at Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP and a Prettyman Fellow at the Georgetown University Law Center’s Criminal Justice Clinic. She holds a JD from Stanford Law School, Masters Degrees in literature and advocacy from The University of Oxford and Georgetown University, and a BA from Wesleyan University.
