Kathy Zeisel joined Children's Law Center as a staff attorney in 2008. Kathy is also on the board of the District Alliance for Safe Housing, a non-profit working to increase housing options for survivors of domestic violence in DC. Prior to joining CLC, Kathy was the Domestic Violence Staff Attorney at the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty, where she worked on policy and advocacy related to domestic violence and housing. Before moving to DC, Kathy was staff attorney at the Center for Battered Women's Legal Services, Sanctuary for Families, Inc, where she represented survivors of domestic violence in family, matrimonial and neglect proceedings. Kathy graduated from the New York University School of Law in 2005, where she helped to start Law Students for Human Rights. She received her BSFS from Georgetown in 2001.
