Meghan Williams joined Children’s Law Center as Communications Manager in August 2011. A Florida native, she came to the DC metro area after graduation from the College of William & Mary. After learning the ins and outs of Northern Virginia through work as an assistant editor at Connection Newspapers, Meghan went national as an editor and writer at the Child Welfare League of America in 2008. She explored child welfare issues through stories in Children’s Voice magazine. Adding social media coordination to her responsibilities, she shepherded CWLA’s Twitter and Facebook networks into a reliable forum for sharing resources. Meghan is thrilled that joining CLC allows her to continue to marshal her communications knowledge and writing background on behalf of at-risk children.
