Renee Erline joined the Health Access Project as an Equal Justice Works Fellow in 2010. Her fellowship project focuses on improving Early Intervention services for infants and preschoolers. Renee received her JD, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2010. During law school, Renee represented low-income people in housing and small claims matters and taught a class about legal issues to detained juveniles. As a legal intern at several legal aid organizations in the DC metro area, Renee worked on special education, child support, domestic violence, adoption, and child custody cases. Renee worked for four years before law school advocating for children in foster care in Chicago at Court Appointed Special Advocates of Cook County. Renee graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Education and Social Policy in 2002.
