Rebecca Goldfrank joined Children’s Law Center in 2004 as a staff attorney and is now the FPP Project Director. She earned her law degree, cum laude, in 2004 from American University, Washington College of Law. During law school she represented indigent defendants as a student attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic, served as a law clerk at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and at CLC, and taught constitutional law and criminal procedure to students in DC public high schools. Prior to law school, she was a staff investigator at the Public Defender Service and worked for a non-profit, second-chance jobs program in New York City. She graduated from New York University with a BA in Spanish.
Steptoe & Johnson has had a very close relationship with the Children's Law Center since its formation. The cases CLC refers are truly compelling, and the many attorneys who have worked on them over the years have been deeply touched by the experience. It is also a pleasure to work with the CLC staff, all of whom are extremely knowledgeable, and always ready to mentor pro bono attorneys.
