Sarah King joined the Children's Law Center as a staff attorney on the Health Access Project in 2009 and joined the Policy team in 2012. Before coming to CLC, Sarah worked as an International Legal Fellow with Odsjek Krivicne Odbrane, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarah received her JD magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008. While at Miami, she was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review and a Vice President of the Moot Court Board. Sarah developed a commitment for health law during her years in Miami, where she worked as a fellow in the Health and Education Rights Clinic. She also had the opportunity to gain exposure to children's issues while working with the Children and Youth Law Clinic. While in law school, Sarah also interned with the World Organization Against Torture in Geneva, Switzerland and the Department of Homeland Security. Sarah earned her Bachelors degree magna cum laude, in Public Relations and International Relations, minoring in Spanish, from Syracuse University in 2005.
