Valecia Cooper Biddix joined Children’s Law Center as a staff attorney in 2006. Prior to joining CLC, Valecia was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Lee F. Satterfield at the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. Valecia graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center where she received the Dean’s Certificate in recognition of outstanding service to the Law Center community in 2005. At Georgetown, Valecia participated in the Institute for Public Representation and the Street Law Clinic. Valecia spent her first summer at the NAACP headquarters in Baltimore, MD as a recipient of a legal fellowship funded by the Kellogg’s Corporate Citizen Fund, and her second summer at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Valecia is a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she received an MBA and BA in Business Administration.
