Wendy Phipps joined Children’s Law Center as Director of Finance and Administration in November 2010. She has worked with progressive membership and advocacy organizations for more than 25 years. Wendy began her activist career with the CLEC Canvass Network, where she spent 16 years helping to build one of the country’s largest grassroots fundraising and organizing operations. In 1998, she became the Deputy Director of the Institute for Policy Studies. Most recently, she served as the Managing Director at USAction and USAction Education Fund, overseeing the financial, administrative and staff management operations. Wendy excels in helping mission-driven organizations balance external success with internal sustainability. Wendy is originally from California, graduating from the University of Santa Clara with a BA in Political Science.
