Chrissy is the legal director at Children’s Law Center, overseeing 50 attorneys and more than a dozen social workers, investigators and other staff to ensure that we are providing the highest quality representation for at-risk children within the abuse and neglect system, at the schools and in the courts. She first joined Children’s Law Center as a supervising attorney in 2005 and later became the director of the Guardian ad Litem Program. She has 15 years of experience practicing before the DC Superior Court. Chrissy also led revisions to the Child Abuse and Neglect Attorney Practice Standards and is on the Family Court Implementation Committee. Previously, she was a staff and supervising attorney for six years at the Public Defender service for the District of Columbia. She also was an associate at Stein, Mitchell & Mezines, LLP.
