Colleen is a staff attorney on the Healthy Together team. Before joining CLC, she spent a year at the National Center for Youth Law working on impact litigation cases involving special education, EPSDT, and school discipline issues. At the University of Michigan Law School, she participated in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic, advocating for children and families in special education, landlord-tenant, and family law matters. Colleen has also been an intern at Mental Health Advocacy Services in Los Angeles and in the Educational Opportunities Section of the DOJ Civil Rights Division. Before law school, she worked as a paraprofessional for Toledo Public Schools, supporting students with special education needs in various classroom settings. Colleen speaks Spanish and is excited to work with many of CLC's Latinx Spanish-speaking client families.
