Coulter Minix is a staff attorney with Healthy Together, a medical-legal partnership which pairs Children’s Law Center lawyers with pediatricians in health clinics to find and fix the root causes of a child’s medical issues. Prior to law school, Coulter obtained a master’s degree in special education and taught kindergarten through 3rd grade special education in DC public schools for two years. His second year of teaching, Coulter was named a “highly effective” educator by the school district. Most recently, Coulter was director of government relations for a national provider of home health services, specializing in policy work and systemic reform affecting Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act and other health-related issues. Coulter also speaks Spanish.
