Diana Sisson joined the Children’s Law Center in 2016 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow sponsored by The Morrison & Foerster Foundation. During her fellowship, Diana worked to promote physical and mental health and provide stability for children whose families were experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in Washington, DC through legal representation, outreach and advocacy. She now serves as a senior attorney on the Healthy Together team.

In law school, Diana worked as a student-attorney with the Child Advocacy Law Clinic and Pediatric Advocacy Clinic at the University of Michigan and completed internships with the Legal Aid Justice Center and the Detroit Center for Family Advocacy. She also earned a dual degree in social work, focusing on practice with children and youth. Following graduation, Diana clerked for the Honorable Craig Iscoe at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Prior to law school, Diana worked as a children’s advocate at a domestic violence shelter.
