Healthy Together

Najuma is the BUILD DC Family Outreach Worker for our Healthy Together program. She assists families by providing advocacy support, guidance and connecting them with other community resources as appropriate. Prior to her work at Children’s Law Center, Najuma has served disadvantaged youth in the DC and Baltimore areas as an AmeriCorps member and working with community-based organizations. She currently volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate working with youth and families involved in the Prince George’s County foster care system.
