FY22 Budget Testimony: Office of the City Administrator
Children’s Law Center Policy Director Sharra E. Greer testified about the importance of fully funding the Office of the Ombudsperson for Children before the DC Council’s Committee on Housing and Executive Administration at the Office of the City Administrator Budget Hearing. Because the City Administrator has responsibility over all executive-reporting agencies, we believe it plays a significant role in supporting the creation and success of the Ombudsperson for Children and urge the Council to ensure the District’s FY22 budget includes $800,000 in local recurring dollars to fully fund Ombuds.
