FY19 Oversight Testimony: Office of the State Superintendent of Education (2)
Children’s Law Center Policy Analyst Michael Villafranca recently shared testimony with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education at its 2019 oversight hearing. We testified because nearly all the children we represent attend public schools in DC – whether traditional public schools or charter schools. Michael joined Policy Director Sharra Greer in sharing his thoughts. He focused on exclusionary discipline practices and how OSSE can address them in DC schools. Read the full testimony here.
