Testimony: Home Visiting Services Pilot Establishment Act of 2017

Policy Supervising Attorney Renee Murphy testified before the DC Council’s Committee on Health regarding the proposed Home Visiting Services Pilot Program Establishment Act of 2017.  If passed, the bill would require the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services to conduct a feasibility study to assess the ability of a pay-for-success model to improve, expand, and sustain home visiting programs in the District of Columbia.  It would also establish a special fund to be used for awarding grants and making payments due in accordance with pay-for-success contracts.
